Admission Requirements
Undergraduate
- HSC completed with GPA 4 / A -level or equivalent.
- For Diploma / Foundation program with HSC result GPA 3.5 acceptable.
- English language requirement: A level with English language minimum C Grade / IELTS score 6 / TOEFL score 67 or equivalent, for Foundation and diploma program IELTS score 5.5 / TOEFL score 55 / equivalent.
Postgraduate
- Bachelor in a relevant program with CGPA 3.5 / 70% marks obtained. English Language requirement: IELTS score 6.5 / TOEFL score 79.
- Supplementary documents, such as CV / Resume, research proposal, writing sample, references as well as GMAT or GRE scores.
- Students will IELTS 5.5 and low CGPA can apply for the Pre-master’s program.
Work Opportunities in Australia
Work while study: While enrolled in classes, international students may work up to 40 hours every two weeks. Students may work up to 38 hours per week while classes are not in session. To work in Australia, students are required to obtain a Tax File Number (TFN).
Post-Study Visa: International students can apply for a “Temporary Graduate Visa” to stay and work in Australia if they recently received a degree from an Australian institution. Two distinct streams exist:
International students who recently received a degree in a CRICOS-registered programme from an Australian institution are eligible for the “Post-Study Work Stream.” Graduates with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree based on courses can often stay for two years, but those with a research-based master’s degree can stay for three years. It is possible to renew this kind of visa twice.
International students who have graduated with credentials pertinent to the particular jobs Australia requires are eligible for the “Graduate Work Stream.” If their application for the visa is granted, they can remain and work there for up to 18 months.
