Questions

Questions about Spoken English

I understand English but I freeze when I have to speak, will this help?

That is the problem this course was built around. You speak in every single class, because the sessions are structured speaking practice rather than lectures, and daily pair work gets you talking before you have time to get nervous. Two months and 24 classes of that is usually enough to break the freeze.

Can this course prepare me for a visa or admission interview?

Yes. Interview preparation for visa and university admission interviews is part of the syllabus, along with job interviews and presentation confidence. You rehearse the common situations directly: travel, work, campus and immigration. Sessions are recorded, so you hear how you actually sound under pressure rather than how you assume you sound.

Can I reduce my Bangla accent and be understood clearly?

Pronunciation and accent reduction drills run through the whole course. The goal is being understood first time by any listener, not imitating a British or American accent. Idioms, phrasal verbs and natural everyday expressions are taught alongside, because sounding natural depends as much on word choice as on accent.

Is Spoken English the same as IELTS Speaking preparation?

No, and it is worth being clear about that. This course builds general fluency and confidence for real conversation, interviews and daily use. IELTS Speaking is a scored test with its own three part format and band descriptors, and that is taught inside our IELTS courses. Plenty of students do Spoken English first, then move across.
