How competitive is the Stipendium Hungaricum?

Places are allocated per country and Bangladesh receives a meaningful annual allocation. Applications are made through the Ministry of Education in Bangladesh as well as directly. Early, complete applications with strong academic records succeed most often.

Is a Hungarian medical degree recognised in Bangladesh?

Hungarian medical degrees are recognised across the EU and widely elsewhere. To practise in Bangladesh you must complete BMDC registration requirements. We explain the full route before you apply.

Can I travel in Europe with a Hungarian permit?

Yes. A Hungarian residence permit allows visa-free travel within the Schengen area for up to 90 days in any 180 day period.
