Study in Sweden
Innovation-led education, flat hierarchies and a serious global research reputation.
Why Sweden?
Sweden produces an extraordinary number of globally successful companies for its size, and its universities are a large part of why. Teaching emphasises independent thinking, teamwork and questioning rather than memorisation, and English-taught masters programmes are available across almost every discipline.
Innovation culture
Sweden consistently ranks at the top of global innovation indices, and universities are closely tied to that ecosystem.
Flat academic hierarchy
Students address professors by first name and are expected to question and contribute, which builds genuine confidence.
Extensive English-taught masters
Nearly every Swedish university offers a broad catalogue of masters programmes delivered entirely in English.
Post-study residence permit
Graduates can apply for a residence permit of up to twelve months to seek work or start a business.
No cap on student work hours
Sweden does not impose a fixed hourly limit on student work, though you must maintain satisfactory academic progress.
Scholarship opportunities
The Swedish Institute Scholarship and numerous university scholarships are open to Bangladeshi applicants.

How does the Swedish application system work?
Almost all Swedish universities recruit through a single national portal, universityadmissions.se. You submit one application ranking up to four programmes, which is efficient but means the January deadline is absolute. We manage the full portal submission for you.
Are Swedish Institute scholarships realistic?
They are highly competitive and prioritise applicants with work experience and demonstrated leadership. Individual university scholarships are less competitive and often cover 25 to 75 percent of tuition.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sweden?
Housing is the main practical challenge, particularly in Stockholm and Lund. Apply for university housing the moment you accept your offer, as queues are long.
Ready to apply to Sweden?
Bring your transcripts and a realistic budget. In one session you will leave with a shortlist of Sweden universities you can actually reach, a cost sheet covering tuition of SEK 90,000 - 180,000 per year (approximately EUR 8,000 - 16,000), and a timeline worked back from your target intake.
