Can I study in Korea without knowing Korean?
Yes, for English-taught programmes. However learning Korean substantially improves your part-time work options, your daily life and your employability after graduation. Most universities include free or subsidised Korean classes.
What is TOPIK?
The Test of Proficiency in Korean. Level 3 or above is generally needed for Korean-taught degrees and increases both your scholarship prospects and your permitted part-time work hours.
How much bank balance is required?
Requirements vary by university and visa category, typically between US$ 10,000 and US$ 20,000 held in the student's or sponsor's account. We confirm the exact figure for your target university.
Is dormitory accommodation guaranteed?
